Summer Vibes

I'm like the Queen of stashing a specific piece of clothing away until the perfect time (or outfit) presents itself. There are clothes in my closet that I've had for months (sometimes even years) before wearing because it just wasn't the right time yet... this skirt is one of those pieces. I got it during a Zara sale some months back. The print just yells "summer" to me so I didn't want to pull it out of my closet until the weather was warmer and this past weekend in NYC, it was just that; it might've been a little too hot actually, but still beautiful nonetheless.

I've been excited to wear this shirt, and upon buying it, I knew that I'd pair it with this skirt that I had stashed away. I'm super obsessed with the sleeves because they're so over-the-top and dramatic. All I wanted to do when I wore it was flail my arms around. Similar to the skirt, I could only see it being worn on a warm/sunny day. I just wish the weather here would actually stay warm and sunny so I could get some more summer looks off. In the mean time, I'll continue to dress for 3 different seasons in the time span of one week.
