Vintage Feels

I recently had a super fun shoot with a long-time friend and insanely talented photographer. He reached out and said that he wanted a "vintage" look and I couldn't wait to rummage through my closet (and my moms) to see what I could throw together.

I knew I wanted it to be 70's inspired because I just really wanted to wear my hair in a fro lol. I found the top in my mom's closet and thought it would pair perfectly with a black mini skirt. The shirt's bell sleeves were just so reminiscent of the 70s to me. I added black mules and a chain belt (because what would a vintage outfit be without a chain belt?). I actually envisioned the look with a vintage Moschino chain belt (one like this, they're absolutely amazing and I need to get my hands on one) but my mom's worked just fine too. The finishing touches? Big gold hoops and cat eye sunglasses. The look just screams "Pam Grier in 'Foxy Brown'" to me. I think I'll do more looks inspired by different eras in the future since I had so much fun with this one.
