DOLLAR$ & SENSE was created in the wake of recent wrongful killings of unarmed Black men and women by police and white supremacists. Its mission is to motivate people of all races and walks of life to use their spending power more wisely in order to dismantle a system that has contributed to the ongoing oppression of the Black community for centuries. When we #BuyBlack, not only are we empowering our own, but we're also taking away our buying power from businesses who have no regard for our wellbeing or the injustices we face on the daily. This may not be an end-all-be-all solution, but it is a step towards change and sends a message that we refuse to continue supporting companies who don't support us. DOLLAR$ & SENSE features 300+ Black-owned businesses spanning across multiple categories with direct links to their online stores or websites. Let's not waste anymore of our time or money where it's not truly valued.
